our provisional projects
Each year, provisional members create, fund, and complete an original project. These projects must focus on an innovative approach to serving the children of Grenada. Projects such as Operation Special Needs, Happy Hearts, and Lovin' Lunch Boxes have evolved into ongoing projects.
JA of Grenada won the MAG Award, a national NAJA award for the best provisional project, in 2006, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2015, and 2021.

“Beyond the Bell: Life Skills Edition”
Beyond the Bell: Life Skills Edition is a hands-on learning experience presented by the Junior Auxiliary of Grenada’s provisional class in partnership with Grenada High School. Designed to prepare students for life beyond the classroom, this program focuses on practical, real-world skills that support independence, career readiness, and everyday success.
Participants rotate through four interactive stations—Cooking, Housekeeping, Basic First Aid, and Car Maintenance—working in small groups alongside knowledgeable volunteers and staff. Each station emphasizes active participation, giving students the opportunity to practice essential skills they will use at home, in the workplace, and in their daily lives. Beyond the Bell empowers students to step confidently into adulthood with practical knowledge they can use immediately and build on for the future.
